"Abe" Stuber (November 12, 1904 November 20, 1989) was the 20th head football coach for the Iowa State University Cyclones located in Ames, Iowa and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1947 until 1953. His career coaching record at Iowa state was 24-38-3. This ranks him seventh at Iowa state in total wins and 21st at Iowa state in winning percentage. Prior to coming to Iowa State, Stuber was the head football coach at Southeast Missouri State University.[1]
