Emmett J. Conrad, MD High School is a public school located in Vickery Meadow, Dallas, Texas (USA). Emmett J. Conrad High School, which covers grades 9-12, is a part of the Dallas Independent School District. The school currently has over 5,000 students and is a 5A school. The school colors are blue and gold.

The school serves most of Vickery Meadow and the DISD portion of Highland Meadows.[5]

Features

The 325,000-square-foot (30,200 m2) building features 46 core classrooms, including classrooms for performing arts, visual arts, and media. It also has classrooms for art, science, and instructional technology. The campus has student dining areas and athletic fields. There will be school uniforms for 2011-2012 school year.

Swimming

Although small in size, the Emmett J Conrad Swim Team has proven to have a lot of spirit in the past two years (2012-2014). Coached by Ms. Miller, the team has encountered many victories in District and Regional Competitions. The Captain Jorge Antonio Rodriguez Santana has inspired the whole team along with his crew and has obtained 3rd place at District UIL competition and has won many other meets. The team composed of Luz Ruiz, Luis Ruiz, Roxana Hernandez-Dominguez, Paw Day, Luis Martinez, Chancellor Mitchell, Jose Perez, DeVantria Clark, Katya Gonzales, Carmia Long, Jennyfer Rodriguez-Santana, and Jorge Antonio Rodriguez-Santana has demonstrated spirit and courage through every practice and competition. These group of amazing swimmers is sure to one day represent their country.

Feeder patterns

At the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year, Tasby and Robert T. Hill middle schools will feed into Emmett J. Conrad High School. [6]

L. L. Hotchkiss, Jack Lowe, Sr., Lee McShan, Jr., and Jill Stone Elementary Schools will feed into Tasby Middle School, and Highland Meadows Elementary School will feed into Robert T. Hill Middle School, all of which will ultimately feed into Conrad High School.[6]
