Emmanuel Arnold Okwi (born 25 December 1986) is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Simba SC in Tanzania and the Uganda national football team.

Club career

Okwi played for Ugandan Super League club SC Villa before joining Tanzanian giants Simba SC signed the player for $40,000.[2]

In January 2013, Étoile du Sahel signed Okwi for a Tanzania record fee of $300,000.[3] in December it was announced that okwi has complete his transfer to Tanzania giant Young Africans follewing ending of his contract with sc villa,19 dec 2013 he scored his first for young Africa against his former club simba. Okwi terminated his contract with Young African after the club failed to pay Okwi USD 60,000 as agreed in the contract, then he joined his former Simba Sports Club of Dar es Salaam for unconditional contract of six months

International career

Okwi first represented Uganda at senior level i 2009. He was the second top scorer at the 2010 CECAFA Cup, scoring an four goals in five matches.[4] The following year at the 2011 CECAFA Cup, he scored five goals and was joint top scorer alongside Rwanda's Meddie Kagere and their captain Olivier Karekezi.[5]
