Elysia timida is a species of sacoglossan sea slug, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk. It feeds on the algae Acetabularia acetabulum (from which it keeps the chloroplasts, that are able to continue photosynthesis in the slug's tissues) and Padina pavonia.
