Elvis Vieira Araújo (born 3 May 1994 in Janiópolis) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Botafogo as an midfielder.

Club career

Elvis joined Benfica in 12 January 2011, signing a three and half year contract.[1] In 20 July 2011, he was loaned for one year to União Leiria in Primeira Liga,[2] where he played 27 games and netted twice. On 28 April 2012, Elvis and 15 others, rescinded his loan contract with União Leiria for unpaid salaries.[3]

Elvis was placed on the newly formed Benfica B team the following season. He made his debut in a 6–0 trashing of CF Os Belenenses.[4]

On July 2013, Elvis rescinded his contract with Benfica and signed with Tombense, later moving to América Mineiro.[5]

Elvis signed for Botafogo in 2015.[6]
