Elvis Depressedly
Elvis Depressedly is an American indie band from Asheville, North Carolina.[1] The band was formed by Coma Cinema frontman Mat Cothran.[2][3]
History
Elvis Depressedly formed in 2011. Since then, the band has released two extended plays, Save The Planet Kill Yourself (not on a record) and Holo Pleasures via Birdtapes.[4][5] Their first studio album, titled Goner, was released in 2011. Their second studio album, titled Mickey's Dead, was released in 2013 via Orchid Tapes.[6] The album was named one of the best free albums of 2012 by The Social.[7] The band was also named one of "Ten Sad Alt-Bro Bands That Should Play At Bon Iver's Music Festival" by PAPER Magazine.[8] In November of 2014, the band signed to Run For Cover Records.[9] In 2015, the band released their third studio album, titled New Alhambra.[10] They went on a short tour following the release of New Alhambra.[11]
