Elvira Barbey

Elvira Barbey (born August 7, 1892) was a figure skater who competed in pairs and ladies singles.

With her husband Louis Barbey, Elvira represented Switzerland in the 1928 Winter Olympics, finishing 11th in pairs and coming in 19th as a single skater. She and Louis later won the gold medal at the French Figure Skating Championships in 1934 and 1936.[1] [2] [3] [4]

Barbey and her husband were the parents of French figure skating champion Gaby Clericetti.
