Elton Dharry

Elton Dharry born Elton Felix Dharry is a Guyanese Indian Professional Boxer.

Personal life

Dharry migrated to Brooklyn, New York, USA as a child from the Island of Leguan, Guyana, South America. Dharry started boxing at age 11 and competed regularly under the guidance of the late Patrick Ford.

Dharry trains at the famous Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn, New York under Martin Gonzales, Lennox Blackmoore and Neuky Santelises.

As of 2014 Dharry held the WBC Caribbean (CABOFE) Bantamweight Title, Guyana National Bantamweight Title, and WBU Americas Bantamweight Title.

Amateur career

Dharry fought in the US Nationals, The Metro Finals and The Olympic Box-Offs in 2003 and 2004. He turned Pro at the end of 2004 in Guyana.

Professional career

He was the WBC Caribbean Bantamweight Champion, Guyana National Bantamweight Champion and WBU Americas Bantamweight Champion[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
