Elmer R. Gainer (November 22, 1918 – 1970[1]) was a professional basketball player for the Baltimore Bullets and Waterloo Hawks in the National Basketball Association (NBA).[2] Gainer studied at DePaul University. He was drafted in the 1947 BAA Draft with the 76th overall pick by Bullets. He had previously played in the National Basketball League with several teams.[3]
