Elliot Knight is a British actor best known for his role as Sinbad in the UK TV series Sinbad.

Early life and education

Knight was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom to Stuart and Lorna Knight, who are both teachers.[1] His father works at Broadway Secondary School in Perry Barr, Birmingham.

He was a pupil at King Edward VI Aston School before studying at Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre,[2] graduating in 2011 from the BA (Hon) Acting course.[3][4]

Career

In June 2011, Sky1 announced that Knight had won the lead role in the television drama Sinbad which is his first professional role even before graduation from drama school.[3] The series premiered in July 2012.

Knight has been cast in 400 Boys along with Jodelle Ferland, María Valverde and Li Bingbing.[5][6]

In 2013, Knight joined the cast of BBC crime drama By Any Means.[7]
