Electric Shepherd Productions is the production arm of the Philip K. Dick Estate. ESP is exclusively devoted to bringing the work of author Philip K. Dick to film, television, graphic novels, animation and assorted other forms of media.

Film

ESP is a listed production company on a number of upcoming films, including The Adjustment Bureau[1] (starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, written and directed by George Nolfi, based on the Philip K. Dick short story Adjustment Team), and Walt Disney Animation Studios' upcoming 3D animated film King of the Elves[2] (directed by Chris Williams, based on the Philip K. Dick story of the same name).

The 1954 penultimate issue of Orbit Science Fiction featured stories by many notable authors. Philip K. Dick's daughter, Isa Dick Hackett, is Executive Producer of the movie The Adjustment Bureau which is loosely based on "Adjustment Team" and scheduled for release in 2011.

Graphic Novels

ESP participated in the release of Boom! Studios' maxi-series Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, which incorporates the full text of Philip K. Dick's original novel in a graphic novel format, with original interior art by Tony Parker.[3]

In 2009, Marvel Comics and ESP released a 5-issue adaptation of Philip K. Dick's short story The Electric Ant, written by David Mack and illustrated by Pascal Alixie.[4]
