Electric Century is the upcoming debut EP by alternative rock band Electric Century set to be released on April 18, 2015. It was announced that the EP will be released via Panic State Records through the band's Twitter page. The EP was delayed due to frontman Mikey Way's drug abuse and time in rehab.[1] The release features an exclusive track, the previously released single "I Lied" and two more songs expected to appear on the band's upcoming full-length record.

Background and Recording

Mikey Way announced the band's formation via his Twitter. The band released their first song "I Lied" on February 25, 2014. After the song was released, Way was tricked into going to rehab, and after a short stay he began writing more lyrics for the album.[2] The band later released their second song "Let You Get Away", although the song is featured on the EP.[3] On March 10, 2015, the band announced that the EP would be released through Panic State Records on April 18, 2015[4] on vinyl. The EP will be released on iTunes in May of the same year.[5]
