The Electoral division of Elwick is one of the 15 Tasmanian Legislative Council electorates or seats. It covers the Glenorchy municipality with an area of 103 km²,[1] with 25,132 enrolled voters as of 31 January 2015.[2]
The last election was held on 1 May 2010, at which Adriana Taylor, a former Labor Party member running as an independent, succeeded Labor-turned-independent MLC Terry Martin. The next periodic election is due in 2016.
