Eldridge Rojer (born 13 March 1984 in Willemstad, Curaçao in the former Netherlands Antilles) is a Dutch footballer of Curaçaoan descent who plays as a winger for WKE in the Dutch Topklasse.

Career

Rojer started his career with VV Bargeres, and was later scouted by FC Emmen where he played in their youth teams. Later, he began playing for the youth teams of Vitesse. In 2002 he was picked for the first team squad. He played four seasons in Arnhem, and was seen as an emerging talent, but the chances for him to play, where very small.

In 2007, he signed with Excelsior Rotterdam where he could count on more playing time. He started well for the club, but suddenly he got a serious injury, and he was out for 18 months. It became even worse, when it emerged that he had had sexual intercourse with his girlfriend in the shower, and that he had fallen in the process.[1] This meant that he was out for another six months.

FC Zwolle

On 17 June 2009, it became apparent that Rojer had signed a contract with FC Zwolle. While at FC Zwolle he tried to get back from the injury-filled period and return to form. After a good season for FC Zwolle, scoring 12 goals in 37 matches, he left the club after not renewing his contract with the club.[2]

FC Emmen

Rojer signed a two year contract with FC Emmen, who picked him up as a free agent.[3]
