El Diario de Hoy (Today's Daily) is a national newspaper published in San Salvador, El Salvador. Established in 1936, the Spanish-language paper is generally associated with many scandals and misconceptions of the news.

The newspaper also has weekly publications, such as the children's section Guanaquín ("Little guanaco," or little Salvadoran), and regional editions such as El Diario del Oriente, which focuses on the northeastern region.

El Diario de Hoy has been the subject of harsh criticism because of its sensationalist "news" very little credible, leading the decline of its readers, also in El Salvador among many very reputable journalists of the country they call it The Daily of Liars, due to the amount of sensationalistic news, full of lies that are published in the newspaper for political purposes, among other scandals that came to light such evading taxes in the country for nearly 45 years due to an unfair printing law in El Salvador . It is ideologically slanted to the right-wing in the country.
