Ek Veer Ki Ardaas... Veera (English: A Brother's Prayer... Veera) is an Indian television soap opera, which gets aired on Star Plus. The series premiered on 29 October 2012 and stars Digangana Suryavanshi, Shivin Narang, Vishal Vashishtha and Farnaz Shetty, replacing child actors Harshita Ojha, Bhavesh Balchandani, Devish Ahuja and Arshifa Khan respectively after the 15 year leap.

Plot summary

This is the story of Ranvi and his half-sister Veera.

Veera returns home after her studies and fights with Baldev as she did in her childhood. Slowly she falls in love with her friend, Karan. At the same time, Ranvi is in love with Gunjan. Gunjan receives a proposal, which she accepts. Ranvi is heartbroken but pretends to be happy. Later Veera and Ranvi find out that this person physically abused his ex-wife. Veera and Ranvi stop the wedding, and Gunjan is devastated. Ranvi tries to cheer her up. Electricity problems face the village and Karan comes up with the idea of putting up a solar panel to which everyone agrees. There is a play of Heer-Ranjha in the village and Veera is Heer and Baldev is Ranjha. Veera comes to know that Karan is cheating them because he is going to take the solar panel back and improve his career. Veera is heartbroken but Ranvi makes her fine. Ratan takes the proposal of Ranvi to Gunjan but she denies it saying that she wanted to take revenge to Ranvi for breaking her marriage. Ranvi and Gunjan find out that Veera is the daughter of Sampooran and Amrita. Gunjan takes advantage to this matter and informs Veera the truth. Veera is shocked on knowing this and starts to cry. Baldev consoles her.

Veera know that her house is up for auction. Veera tells chaiji she has found out the truth. Veera tries to make a plan on opening a school on the fields of what was Ranvi and Sampooran's dream.

Gunjan was trapped by a film director and Ranvi saved her but people misunderstood Ranvi. Balwant got heart attack because of this. After knowing the truth that Ranvi was innocent he requested Ranvi to marry Gunjan. Meanwhile Veera investigated and got the proof against Gunjan. But Ranvi and Gunjan was married already. Veera and Baldev unite Ranvi Gunjan after many attempts. Veera came to know about Ranvi's singing talent. She made Ranvi sing for an album. Meanwhile, Veera and Baldev went to Poland to learn new techniques in farming from "Mr. Neal". After going to Poland, they came to know "Mr. Neal" was Nihal Singh. He taught all techniques to them. In Poland, Baldev helped Veera and taken care of her. After returning to India, Veera realized her feelings for Baldev, and tried to convey it to Baldev. After so many failures she told Baldev that she loved him. Then there were some scenes of their love track. Veera and Baldev decided to bring Nihal to India. And they convinced Ranvi to accept Nihal. Ranvi got the chance to participate in a music competition. They went to Mumbai, at the finals, Ranvi was kidnapped by a finalist and then got saved by Baldev. He eventually won the competition. Gunjan was happy by spending her dreamed life in Mumbai and not want to return Pritampura, but Ranvi denied it. After returning he came to know about Veera and Baldev's relationship. He was furious and denied to give Veera's hand to Baldev.

Baldev and Veera tried to convince Ranvi. Meanwhile Ranvi was trapped in alcohol case by Rajveer and blamed Baldev for it. Veera slaps Baldev for sending her brother to prison. She came to know Baldev was innocent and apologized to Baldev. But Baldev breaks his relationship with Veera for not trusting him and in the spur of the moment, Baldev agrees to marry Simran. Veera is distraught upon hearing this. Preparations are under way for the wedding meanwhile Gunjan is in debt to her friends after borrowing money to gamble. Gunjan tries to sell the jewellery of Amrit which she gave to Simran on on wedding. But she came to know that jewellery wasn't authentic and she tries to tell this to Bansuri. But Amrit threatens Gunjan that she will reveal her gambling to her family members. Meanwhile Veera came to know about Simran's boyfriend. To prove that Simran was a betrayer. Veera participates in Baldev's wedding ceremonies. Veera succeeds in breaking up Baldev's wedding by introducing Simran's boyfriend at the Henna ceremony. Veera and Balev later reunite. However Rajveer succeeds in getting Baldve battered, because of jealousy issues. Veera, Jaggi and Billa rescue Baldev from Rajveer's hired goons. Ranvi, Dalbir and Veera take Baldev to hospital and due to Veera's care and love Baldev recovers from his injury and asks Veera to take him to Ranvi. Baldev promises Ranvi that he would take care of Veera and asks Ranvi for Veera's hand in marriage he exclaims with folded hands that he would love and keep her happy throughout his life. Finally Ranvi agrees for Veera and Baldev's marriage. On the wedding day, Rajveer sent an SMS on Baldev's phone to Veera's phone as a trap for Baldev and Veera. Rajveer had kidnapped, due to Nihal going to Gurdaspur and finding the real truth about Rajveer. Nihal used a broken beer bottle to cut the rope and untie himself. Nihal got up and manage to hit Rajveer's head with the beer bottle, Rajveer fainted. Nihal escaped and tried sprinting to Pritampura. Rajveer's hired goons saw that he was injured and they helped him and he said to kill Nihal and not let Nihal reach Pritampura. The goons went after Nihal but they couldn't find him due to Nihal hiding in a shelter, Nihal sent an SMS to Baldev's phone telling him his life is in risk. Rajveer found Nihal in the shelter and hit Nihal on the side of his head with Baldev's jack which he stole from his jeep, Nihal was pronounced dead. Baldev arrived and got framed by Rajveer for killing Nihal and he got arrested.
