eircom League Weekly

eircom League Weekly was the name of a weekly football programme on TV3 in Ireland. Running from October 2002 to November 2007, it showed highlights from the League of Ireland. The show was presented by Trevor Welch, who was regularly accompanied by analysts Paul Osam and Pat Fenlon.

The show aired on Monday nights post 23:30, usually after the News Tonight bulletin, in the same slot allocated the rest of the week to the Sports Tonight round-up programme, with a Tuesday teatime repeat.

Highlights of all Premier Division matches were shown, plus a number of main games each week from the First Division.

Among the commentators during the six-season run were Des Curran and Conor Frehill.

From 2008-2013, League of Ireland highlights rights switched to RTÉ, where they were shown during Monday Night Soccer.
