Eid Al-Fayez (Arabic: عيد الفايز),(born 1945) is a Jordanian politician.
Personal information
Al-Fayez was born in 1945 in the village of Manja, Jordan. He is descended from a well-known Bedouin tribe in Jordan called Bani Sakhr. In 1969 he received a Bachelor of Economics from the Beirut Arab University (BAU), From then until 1983 he worked in the private sector in the U.S., U.K., and Switzerland. Since 1983 he has held a series of government positions such as Minister of Labour, Minister of State, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Minister of Interior[1] which he held for several years after the tragic 2005 Amman bombings. He is currently married and has three children (Sudad,Sanad and Hala).
