Edward L. Salmon, Jr.
Edward L. Salmon, Jr. (born January 30, 1934) is a retired American Anglican bishop.
Salmon served as the dean of Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin. Born in Natchez, Mississippi, he received his bachelor's degree from the University of the South and a bachelor's degree in theology from Virginia Theological Seminary. In 1961, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Arkansas in The Episcopal Church. From 1990 to 2008, he served as bishop of the Diocese of South Carolina.[1] He is a noted conservative but has decided to remain in the Episcopal Church, unlike his former diocese.
