Edward Adrift

Edward Adrift is a 2013 novel by Craig Lancaster about Edward, a man with Asperger Syndrome who lives in Billings, Montana. It is the sequel to 2009's 600 Hours of Edward.

Story

The narrative takes the form of Edward's journal, in which he records his trials and challenges.

In Edward Adrift, the title character is forced to leave the rigidly ordered life which he had been living until recently, although he still sticks to certain routines.

Edward does not get on with his father at all, but when his father dies, Edward suddenly finds himself with more money, and more freedom. He attempts employment, but this does not altogether succeed.
