Bomo Edna Molewa, known as Edna Molewa (born 23 March 1957), is a South African politician. Molewa became the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs of South Africa on 31 October 2010, as part of a cabinet reshuffle by President Jacob Zuma. On May 25 2014, her Ministry was split and she was appointed Minister of Environmental Affairs. She replaced her predecessor, Buyelwa Sonjica.[2]
Education
Molewa completed a course in Economic Leadership for the New Millennium and Administration Management from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania; a course in Leadership at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She holds a Certificate in Negotiating Skills from International Miners Ministry South Africa (IMMSA). She is currently studying towards a BCom degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA).[3]
