Edmund Morris (MP)
Edmund Morris (c. 1686 – 30 July 1759) was an English politician.
He was born the eldest son of Charles Morris of Loddington, Leicestershire and educated at Rugby school and Magdalen College, Oxford.
He served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Leicestershire from 1722 to 1727 and was later appointed Sheriff of Leicestershire for 1747.
He married Anne, the daughter of Sir Alexander Campbell MP of Calder, Nairn, Scotland. They had one son and four daughters.
