Edgar Miguel lé (born 1 May 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona B. Mainly a central defender, he can also play as a right back.
Club career
Born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, Ié joined Sporting Clube de Portugal's youth system in 2008, aged 14. In the 2012 summer, after concluding his formation, he moved to FC Barcelona in Spain alongside teammate and countryman Agostinho Cá.[2]
In Catalonia Ié started playing with the B-team, in Segunda División. He made his official debut on 8 December 2012, playing ten minutes in a 1–1 home draw against Elche CF.[3]
Ié made his first appearance for Barcelona's main squad on 3 December 2014, replacing Jérémy Mathieu for the last 27 minutes of a 4–0 win at SD Huesca in the last 32 of the Copa del Rey.[4]
International career
Ié was initially selected by Portugal for the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Championship,[5] but missed the tournament in Estonia due to injury.

Personal
Ié's twin brother, Edelino, is also a footballer. A midfielder, he too came through the youth teams at Sporting.
