Edgar Baumann

Edgar Baumann Duran (born April 16, 1970) is a retired male javelin thrower from Paraguay, who represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He set his personal best (84.70 metres) on October 10, 1999 at a meet in San Marcos, Texas, setting a South American record. Baumann was the first South American athlete who had thrown over 80 metres in the javelin throw (80.56 metres in 1996).
