Ed Baker (born June 24, 1931) is a former American football player and coach. His grandon, Matt Baker played football as a quarterback at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1]
Coaching career
Baker was the head college football coach for the Kalamazoo Hornets located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He held that position for 19 seasons, from 1967 until 1989.[2] His coaching record at Kalamazoo was 62 wins, 89 losses and 5 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2010 season, this ranks him #2 at Kalamazoo in total wins and #11 at the school in winning percentage (.413).[3]
