Easynet is a global managed service provider. Its customers have the freedom to choose the IT infrastructure options that meets their exacting business requirements. Easynet can offer this as they are impartial – they are not aligned to an individual carrier, provider or supplier – therefore they are able to source and integrate services and infrastructure in order to create dynamic, enduring and sustainably competitive networks, hosting and unified communication environments.

Founded in 1994, by David Rowe and Keith Teare, Easynet was owned by British Sky Broadcasting, from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, Easynet announced its sale from BSkyB (Sky) to Lloyds Development Capital (LDC), the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

In December 2013 the company was acquired by MDNX Group, the UK's largest independent carrier integrator. Combining these two organisations has created the largest independent network and hosting integrator in Europe, which trades everywhere as Easynet. The acquisition was backed by Equistone Partners Europe Limited, one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity managers, who hold a majority stake in the organisation. LDC has reinvested in the organisation to acquire a minority stake alongside the MDNX management.

The company is headquartered in Bracknell, United Kingdom, and has offices throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, and the US.
