Earth One (DC Comics series)
Earth One is an ongoing series of graphic novels published by DC Comics which retells the earliest adventures of various DC Comics characters.[1] The series takes place in a new continuity on a new Earth separate from the DC Universe, freeing it from continuity restraints.[1] The series was launched with Superman: Earth One, which was released on October 27, 2010.
Premise
Earth One is a series of graphic novels featuring modernisations of DC Comics characters and their origin stories, re-interpreted for a 21st century audience.
Earth One titles
- Superman: Earth One, Volume 1-3[2][3]
- Batman: Earth One, Volume 1; Volume 2 will be released May 6, 2015.[4]
- Teen Titans: Earth One, Volume 1[5]
- Wonder Woman: Earth One,[6] Volume 1 was slated for a Summer 2014 release before being postponed to 2015.[7][8] The graphic novel will be written by Grant Morrison with art by Yanick Paquette.[9] During the graphic novel's production, it was temporarily titled Wonder Woman: The Trial of Diana Prince.[10]
