Earl Gardner (musician)
Not to be confused with Derrick Gardner.
Earl Wesley Gardner, Jr. (born NYC, April 19, 1950) is an American jazz trumpeter.[1] He is probably best known for his stint in the house band on Saturday Night Live, a chair he has held since 1985.
In 1976, he joined The Thad Jones/ Mel Lewis Orchestra.
