eSewa (Nepali: ई सेवा) is the first online payment gateway of Nepal.[3][4] It is an associate service of F1Soft International launched on 21 January 2010.[5] It facilitates its users to pay and get paid online.[6] Its headquarters are located at Hattisar, Kathmandu, Nepal.[7]
Meaning
Here, an acronym "e" means "Electronic"[8] and a Nepalese word "Sewa" (सेवा) means "Service".[9] Thus, its full meaning is "Electronic Service".
