'ENBA Awards' also known as exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards are given for best talent in news television in India. Exchange4media formulated these awards in 2008 with the objective of recognizing the best in Television news, to reward broadcasters and industry leaders who are responsible for shaping the future of Television Broadcasting in India.[1] The award is on the lines of News Television Awards constituted by Anil Wanvari’s IndianTelevision.Com Pvt. Ltd. in 2007,to honour the people who make this industry what it is.The eNBA awards are among the most coveted in the industry as they have one of the most rigorous selection processes. ENBA Awards was earlier known as Indian News Broadcasting Awards(INBA) till 2010.[2][3] Later International news reporting were also awarded,so it was renamed as ENBA awards.

INBA 2008
The first ever Airtel Indian News Broadcasting Awards(INBA) were held in New Delhi on August 22, 2008.TAM Media Research and Media Guru are the knowledge partners.The winners were chosen by an eminent jury panel comprising Tarun Tejpal(Editor-in-Chief, Tehelka); Dr Alok Mehta(President, Editors Guild of India and Chief Editor, Nai Dunia); Prasoon Joshi(Executive Chairman, McCann-Erickson India).

INBA 2009
The second INBA awards were given on August 26, 2009.The awards recognised the most deserving achievers in news broadcasting for their outstanding work for the period April 2008-March 31, 2009. The event partner was Encompass.[5] Tarun Tejpal(Editor-in-Chief, Tehelka)was Chairman of the jury for the INBA 2009. The jury members included GVL Narasimha Rao(psephologist and member of the BJP National Executive Committee); Vinod Bakshi(formerly of the BBC and now on the Board of Zee); Shravan Garg(Editor, Dainik Bhaskar); Kanika Mathur(President — India & SEA, Solutions | Digitas); Counselage’s Suhel Seth; Tarun Rai(CEO, World Wide Media); filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar; Josy Paul( Chairman & National Creative Director, BBDO); G. Narsimha Rao(Supreme Court Advocate).

INBA 2010
The third ENBA Awards were given on September 1, 2010 at the Oberoi,New Delhi.The eINBA awarded excellence for work and achievements during the period between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010. Awards were given away in 26 categories in the third edition of eINBA.

ENBA 2011 awards were given on 27 August 2011 at The Lalit, New Delhi.The jury included Shekhar Gupta,Adam Roberts,Alok Mehta, Najeeb Jung, Naina Lal Kidwai,Suhel Seth, Soli Sorabjee

ENBA 2012
ENBA 2012 Awards were given away in New Delhi on August 31, 2012.The jury was headed by Star India CEO Uday Shankar and jury members included Anuja Chauhan(Author); Chintamani Rao(Strategic Marketing and Media Advisor); CVL Srinivas( Chairman, SMG India, and MD, LiquidThread, Asia-Pac); Dr SS Mantha(Chairman, AICTE); Krishna Prasad( Editor, Outlook); Madan Bahal( Managing Director, Adfactors PR); Maheshwer Peri(Publisher, Careers360); PN Vasanti(Director, CMS); Sandeep Goyal( Vice Chairman, Mogae Group); and Shravan Garg(Chief Editor, Nai Dunia, MP and Chhattisgarh).400 entries from English, Hindi and regional channels vied for honours. Among other jury members, were Filmmaker Shyam Benegal, Columnist Vir Sanghvi and spin legend Bishan Singh Bedi.
