E. Richard Webber

Ernest Richard Webber, Jr. (born 1942) is a United States federal judge.

Webber was born in Kahoka, Missouri. He received a B.S. from University of Missouri (Columbia) in 1964, and a J.D. from that university's law school in 1967. He moved to Memphis, Missouri, and served as a prosecuting attorney for several counties in Missouri: for Schuyler County from 1967 to 1975, for Scotland County from 1969 to 1971, and for Putnam County in 1968. He was also a circuit court judge for the first Judicial Circuit of Missouri from 1979 to 1996.

Webber was a federal judge to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Webber was nominated by President Bill Clinton on August 10, 1995, to a seat vacated by Edward L. Filippine. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on December 22, 1995, and received his commission on December 26, 1995. He assumed senior status on June 30, 2009.
