Dylan Walker (born 27 September 1994) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the National Rugby League. An Australian international representative centre, he has played his entire career to date with the Rabbitohs, winning the 2014 Premiership with them.

Background

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Walker played his early football in the South Sydney Juniors competition for the Mascot Jets before being signed by the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He played in the Rabbitohs' 2012 NYC team.[2] In 2012, Walker also played for the Australian Schoolboys.

Professional playing career

In Round 10 of the 2013 NRL season, Walker made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against the Wests Tigers.[3] He scored a try on debut. In 2013, Walker played for the New South Wales U20's team.

On 5 October 2014, in the Rabbitohs 2014 NRL Grand Final match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Walker played at centre in the Rabbitohs 30-6 victory.[4][5] On 14 October 2014, Walker was selected for the Australia Kangaroos 2014 Four Nations train-on squad.[6] Walker made his international for Australia against New Zealand at Suncorp Stadium, starting at centre then played at fullback in the 2nd half filling in for Greg Inglis in Australia’s 30-12 loss.[7]
