Dylan DeMelo (born May 1, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL). DeMelo was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 6th round (179th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
DeMelo played four seasons (2009 – 2013) of major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), scoring 25 goals and 100 assists for 125 points, while earning 220 penalty minutes in 218 OHL games played.
On April 20, 2012, DeMelo was signed by the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League to an entry-level contract.[1]
