Name meaning Named after Deborah

Devorah (Hebrew: דְּבוֹרָה) is a moshav in the Ta'anakh region, near Afula, in northern Israel. It belongs to the Gilboa Regional Council.

It was founded in 1956 by immigrants to Israel from Morocco in the program to inhabit the Ta'anakh region.

The name "Dvora" was inspired by the prophet Devorah (Deborah) (Judges 4:4), who defeated Sisera in the Book of Judges.
