Duotones is the fourth studio album by saxophonist Kenny G. It was released by Arista Records in 1986, and peaked at number one on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, number five on the Jazz Albums chart, number six on the Billboard 200 and number eight on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.[2]
The album was certified 5× Platinum by the RIAA.[3]

Trivia
- The song "Sade" was indeed created with the group of the same name in mind. However, Kenny claims he's never met the band nor Sade herself.
- There are at least three versions of the CD that have been released in the US. The earlier release has a longer version of "What Does It Take". The later one has a shortened version identical to the one usually played by radio stations. There is also a version that features a different track order while including a bonus track "And You Know That" with an uncredited vocalist.
