Dunnellon High School is an American secondary school located in Dunnellon, FL. The school serves students from Marion, Levy and Citrus counties. The student population of 1400 is 52% majority and 48% minority. Transportation is funded by a $20,000 grant from Progress Energy and administered by the Public Education Foundation of Marion County.[1]

Curriculum

Dunnellon provides education from ninth through twelfth grades. Additional vocational classes include Medical Skills, Business, Culinary Arts, Agriculture, Construction, Child Development, Video Production, Fashion Design, Health Occupations, Power Generation, and an on-the job training program.

The school has an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program.

Sports

The school has won back to back Class 4A state softball championships[2]
