Dunmor is a census-designated place in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, United States.
A post office was established in the community in 1884. The name Dunmor may have come from either colonial politician Lord John Dunmore, or the local Dunn family.[2]
Climate
The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Dunmor has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[3]
