Dunja Ilić

Dunja Ilić (pronounced Dunya Ilich) (Serbian Cyrillic: Дуња Илић; born 10 September 1990) is a Serbian pop singer, songwriter, composer, and author. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She started working on her music career in 2010 but announced in 2013 that she was retiring. She has said that the reason of her retirement is focusing on her recovery (she is a recovering alcoholic), and that she hopes that in the future, she will get back into the music business.

Personal life

In September 2012, Ilić converted to Islam and moved to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.^{[1][2][3][4][5]} Her grandmother (from the mother's side) is a Muslim.^[6] She married Saša Grujić in 2014 and moved to Vranje, Serbia.
