Dulwich and West Norwood /ˈdʌlɪtʃ ənd wɛst ˈnɔːwʊd/ is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.[n 1]
Boundaries
The current boundaries take in the southern parts of Southwark but more of Lambeth.
Boundary review
Following their review of parliamentary representation in South London, the 2007 Boundary Commission for England modified this constituency by moving the northern boundary to encompass more of Brixton and the eastern boundary to lose the wards of Peckham Rye and South Camberwell.
The electoral wards used in the creation of this seat are:
- From the London Borough of Lambeth: Coldharbour, Gipsy Hill, Herne Hill, Knight’s Hill, Thurlow Park.
- From the London Borough of Southwark: College, East Dulwich, Village.
Members of Parliament
The constituency was created in 1997 from parts of the former seats of Dulwich and Norwood. It has been represented since its creation by the former Secretary of State for Culture, Tessa Jowell.
