Dulwich College Suzhou (DCSZ) (Chinese: 苏州德威英国国际学校; pinyin: Sūzhōu Déwēi Yīngguó Guójì Xuéxiào) is a private international school located in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, China. The school has approximately 970 students enrolled. The school caters for students from Toddlers to Year 13 (ages 2 to 18).

History

Dulwich College Suzhou opened in August 2007 in partnership with Dulwich College London. The curriculum of the school is based on the National Curriculum for England, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (Cambridge International Education / CIE and Edexcel), and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

The college is part of Dulwich College International and has sister schools in London, Beijing], Shanghai, Singapore and Seoul.

Headmaster

The first Headmaster of the school was Nicholas Magnus who was Headmaster for five years from the founding until 2012. Nicholas Magnus left to found Dulwich College Singapore which opened in August 2014.

The current Headmaster of the school is John Todd, with Stuart Bridge as Head of Senior School, Duncan Grice as Head of Junior School / Deputy Head of College and Melody Stuckey as Head of Ducks (Early Years).

School Uniform

The uniform is standardised in Dulwich College International schools, including Dulwich College Suzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and other schools. All students (excluding toddlers) at Dulwich are required to wear the school uniform.[1] The school uniform is different for warm and cold weather.
