Duke Grabowski: Mighty Swashbuckler! is an upcoming point-and-click adventure game spinoff of Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island, developed by Venture Moon Industries for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, and Ouya. In August 2014, a crowdfunding campaign was launched to fund the game.[1]
Gameplay
Duke Grabowski, Mighty Swashbuckler! will use a point-and-click interface, and will consist of talking to characters and solving inventory and dialog puzzles.[2]
Plot
The game follows Duke Grabowski, a brutish pirate who must convince his crew that he has what it takes to become a captain.[2]
Development
A demo of the game was created, but the team enjoyed the game so much they wanted to expand it into a full, small adventure game. Bill Tiller, Gene Mocsy, and Jeremiah Grant wanted to be equal partners, and since Autumn Moon Entertainment belonged solely to Bill Tiller, the three founded a new company, Venture Moon Industries. Autumn Moon Entertainment will be licensing the Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island intellectual property to Venture Moon Industries for this game.[1]
