Duggirala is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Duggirala mandal of Tenali revenue division.[2][3] One of the principal line of navigable canals of River Krishna passes through the village.[4]

Demographics

As of 2011 Census of India, the town had a population of 11,098. The total population constitute, 5,505 males, 5,593 females and 1,053 children, in the age group of 0–6 years. The average literacy rate stands at 76.75% with 7,709 literates, higher than the national average of 73.00%.[5]

Transport

Duggirala railway station is administered under Vijayawada railway division of South Central Railways. It is situated on Howrah-Chennai main line.[6]
