"Drowning" is a song by American rock group Hootie & the Blowfish. It is the seventh track on their debut album Cracked Rear View (1994), and was released as the album's last single in late 1995.

Reception

"Drowning" was not as successful as Cracked Rear View's first four singles, and failed to chart anywhere else but the Mainstream Rock Tracks, where it peaked at #21 in November 1995.[1][2]
