Drorah Setel

A biblical scholar and feminist theologian, Drorah Setel, from Buffalo, NY, serves as a rabbi (trained at Leo Baeck College) at Temple Beth El in Niagara Falls, NY. A social activist and a spiritual caregiver, Setel is known as a co-writer, with Debbie Friedman, of the "Mi Shebeirach" sung in many Reform Jewish communities today.[1] Ellen Umansky has listed Setel as among the most prominent Jewish feminist theologians.[2]

Setel is a divorced mother of three children.[3]
