Drabesha is a village development committee in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 14,565 people living in 2709 individual households.[1]
It is supposed to be only VDC in Nepal where no Signal of mobile and wireless service reach. Although Ncell and Ntc have built low quality smaller towers on neighbouring Rangeli and Kanepokhari routes, no signal can be felt on device on this VDC. Ranjani Chowk in Darbesa only receives 1point signal. However, Cable TV and electricity has reached there. Recent Survey estimates that if huge tower would be installed in Darbesha 1, it would be able to serve good quality of signal to smartphone and mobile users in whole darbesha including neighbouring VDCs. This VDC lacks drinking water and Roads facilities. Official languages of this VDC are Nepali and Maithili.
This City is thickly populated with only Nepalese e TT hnic groups such as Rajbanshi, Maithali and Bahun.
