Dražen Međedović (Cyrillic: Дpaжeн Meђeдoвић, born 15 October 1982 in Nikšić, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Montenegrin footballer.

Club career

Sutjeska

Dražen Međedović played a very important role in Sutjeska's first ever drive in the 2009-10 UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds. In the first qualifying round, Sutjeska was drawn with MTZ Ripo (renamed to 'Partizan Minsk' in 2010), a Belorussian football team, and Međedović scored a goal in the first leg played in Nikšić.[1]

Borac Banja Luka

After his most successful spell with Sutjeska, he was sensationally transferred to Borac Banja Luka, one of the most prestigious clubs in the Premijer Liga of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a friendly match between Red Star Belgrade and Borac Banja Luka in Belgrade on 20 February 2011, Međedović assisted Darko Maletić for Borac to lead 1-0.[2] Red Star Belgrade ended up winning the match 2-1.[3]

Čelik Nikšić

After spending a brief half-season with Borac Banja Luka, Međedović signed a short 6-month contract with ambitious Montenegrin side FK Čelik Nikšić. After appearing in thirteen matches, he did not extend his contract despite impressing the management of the club and considered to retire from football.[4]
