Dr Madden
"Dr" Madden is a fictional character in James Joyce's novel Ulysses. We initially meet him as a medical student. He later appears as "Dr" Madden in the medical examination of Leopold Bloom where he states that "In the interest of coming generations I suggest that the parts affected should be preserved in spirits of wine in the national teratological museum".[1]
