"Dr. Yap" is the sixth episode of the second season of Bob's Burgers. It aired on the Fox network on April 29, 2012.
Synopsis
Linda's sister Gayle makes her second appearance in the series, showing up unexpectedly, while Bob is at Dr. Yap (Ken Jeong), the family's dentist. She agrees to pick him up, and, while he is heavily medicated, he accidentally kisses Gayle, thinking her to be his wife. Gayle develops a crush on Bob, and Bob invites the family to his dentist's ski cabin in order to make Gayle fall in love with Dr. Yap instead.
Meanwhile, Gayle's gift to Gene of a large jawbreaker inspires jealousy in Louise. Gene agrees to compete with Louise in a series of challenges for the right to the jawbreaker, such as making gross drinks (with Tina as the judge), seeing who can listen to Teddy's boring stories the longest, and more.
During the ski-trip, Bob accidentally crashes into Louise's self-portrait-snowman, breaking a tooth on the jawbreaker. When Gayle lands on top of him, and tries to make-out, Dr Yap becomes jealous of the two. Later, he pulls Bob's broken tooth without anesthetics. Gene and Louise replace their lost jawbreaker with Bob's removed tooth, and the episode ends with them resuming the challenges.
Production
This episode is rated TV-14 due to the intensely suggestive dialogue (D), strong coarse language (L) and intense violence (V).
