Doyle R. Simons
Doyle R. Simons (born 1964) is a businessman in the forest products industry. He also has expertise in the following industries: executive compensation, real estate development, corporate finance and strategic planning.[1]
Current executive positions
Simons is Director (since 2012) President and Chief Executive Officer (since 2013) of Temple-Inland. His total compensation for 2013 was: $4,186,797.[2]
Employment history
Before his current position at the firm, Simons was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Temple-Inland. He has been with the firm since 1992, during which time he has held a variety of positions, including that of corporate attorney.[3] Before that, he worked at Hutcheson and Grundy, L.L.P. in banking and real estate law.

Simons is on the Board of Directors at Fiserv, Inc., the Board of Visitors at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas, the Weyerhaeuser Board of Directors, the Advisory Board at the Baylor University Henkamer School of Business, the Advisory Council at the College of Natural Sciences and Texas Memorial Museum at the University of Texas.
Recognitions
In 2009, Simons was selected as RSI’s North American CEO of the Year in the paper and forest products industry. He was the youngest CEO to receive the award.[4]

Education
Simons a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas. He graduated the Stanford University Executive Program. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.[6]
