Dawarian is a village in District Neelum, previously called Neelam Valley, the largest district of AJK by area, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 106 kilometers (66 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 22 kilometers (14 mi) from Athmuqam on the bank of Neelum River at the altitude of 1,615 meters (5,299 ft).[1]

Dawarian is accessible by Neelum road from Muzaffarabad. There are sufficient tourism facilities available for tourists in Dawarian like communication (Cellular Services) and accomodation facilities. Two government owned rest houses of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department and AJK Forest Department are located here for tourists stay. It is the base camp to Ratti Gali Lake. Now tourists can access Ratti Gali Lake from Dawarian by Jeep or any vehicle.
